What are Nudges?

Nudges are how colleges, companies, and organizations communicate with you on Tallo. If they want to introduce themselves or share an opportunity, they can send you a Nudge to say hello.

You will see who the Nudge is from, the organization they represent, and a short message explaining why they are reaching out. If you are interested, click the button provided in the Nudge that will take you to where the organization wants you to go! It could be their Tallo profile page, an opportunity, a website, or even a file they'd like you to download and check out.

Nudges are different from a traditional direct message as you cannot reply directly to a Nudge, which means you don't have to have any one-on-one conversations with an actual person. If you have any questions about the message, the organization may have included their contact information so you can contact them outside Tallo.

When you receive a nudge, you will receive an in-app notification and an email notification letting you know that a new Nudge awaits your review.

All nudges you receive are accessible from your Dashboard, where you can review them anytime.
